Privacy Policy

Real Estate Research Corporation (RERC) and its affiliates respect the private information you provide as part of your relationship with us. Your trust is our most important asset, and we are committed to maintaining that trust, as outlined in this Privacy Notice.

In our normal course of business, we collect information about you, the research you purchase and properties with which you are involved (if applicable). Please note that we do not release or make available to the public any of your information, including:

  • Information we receive on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, telephone number and any other contact information
  • Information about your assignments with us or others, such as property, transaction and/or subscription/membership information
  • Information we receive from outside sources directly involved with your transactions and/or subscriptions/memberships

We may disclose this nonpublic information to non-affiliated organizations only under the following conditions:

  • You request us to do so in writing
  • It is required to effectuate or complete a transaction initiated at your request
  • It is reported in accordance with standard banking industry practices to a financial institution, a consumer reporting agency, a merchant or other similar person
  • When required or permitted to do so by law or regulation, including authorized requests from government agencies

Be assured that if you become a former customer or subscriber/member, we continue to maintain records of your past relationship in a manner similar to that of our current customers and do not disclose information to non-affiliated third parties unless requested by you.

Internally, we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you only to our associates who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. Our internal policies on confidential information clearly define the manner under which an associate may access or use your nonpublic information and limit its dissemination unless approved by management. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

RERC and its affiliates reserve the right to alter or amend this statement and any of the actions described above at any time. We will notify you if we make changes to this statement, as required by law. This statement is for general guidance and does not constitute a contract, or modify or amend any agreement with any customer or subscriber/member.
